Jon Sabes
Jon R. Sabes is the founder and CEO of FOXO BioScience, a leader in modernizing the longevity insurance industry with molecular biotechnology. Prior to FOXO, Mr. Sabes served as founder and CEO of GWG Holdings, Inc., where he led the company growth and expansion from startup to assets of $1.6 billion and a $525 million market capitalization.
Balancing his professional duties with physical challenge, Mr. Sabes regularly participates in triathlons, mountain climbing, downhill and cross-country skiing, and other endurance athletics. He enjoys backpacking and auto racing as well.
In other pursuits, Mr. Sabes shares his success through board service and contributions to such organizations as Saving Children, Building Families, which assists families seeking to adopt children; Friends of the Future, in conjunction with the Northside Achievement Zone working to close the achievement gap and end generational poverty in North Minneapolis; and the Insurance Studies Institute, a nonprofit group promoting research and innovation in the industry.
Mr. Sabes’ education includes a Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, from the University of Colorado. Over his career, he has held several licenses and professional association memberships including FINRA Series 7, Series 63, Minnesota State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Mr. Sabes is husband to wife Kristine, and father to their three beautiful children, Jackson, Brooke, and Morgan.
